Description
With more than 8,000 acres and 65 miles of trails, Mission Trails Regional Park is one of the largest urban parks in the country, providing opportunities for recreation as well as native flora and fauna viewing.
Mission Trails is home to Cowles Mountain, the most popular hike in the city, the East Fortuna Staging Area (Equestrian Staging Area), Kumeyaay Lake and Campground, Old Mission Dam Historic Site, Kwaay Paay Peak, and many additional areas to hike, bike, observe and explore.
Parking
Large parking lot as you enter the park from Mission Gorge Rd that gives hikers acess to all the parks trails.
