About 30 minutes north of St. George, the Baker Dam Recreation Area is a BLM (Bureau of Land Management) campground with basic facilities. The campground is set back from the waterfront, but still within walking distance of the dam and reservoir.

The 19 sites are all well spaced and set in a wooded area of small junipers and pine trees. Campsites are reservation only, are RV accessible (no water or electrical hookups), and pets are welcome (leashed).
